Large volume granulators in the Zerma GST Series of soundproofed granulators feature an aggressive tangential infeed and cutting chamber for use in the most demanding of applications.
The low noise level and small footprint makes them the perfect fit for inline recycling operations. And with a rigid and dependable design, granulators in the GST range can be used blow moulding applications to recycle voluminous parts such as bottles, canisters and crates, as well as blow molding flush and injection sprues.

Each large volume granulator in this series can be supplied with a rotor diameter of either 250mm or 40mm with widths ranging from 300mm to 1000mm.
While the smaller machines feature an open F rotor, the bigger machines rely on a heavier S rotor. This rigid design makes them dependable units and includes advanced standard features such as replaceable wear plates.
Feeding of parts into the GST granulator can be carried by hand or conveyer due to the low feeding height. In blow moulding applications, tops and tails are fed to the granulator by a conveyor and the resulting material is directly fed back into the extruder.
