These shredders in the ZXS series are built for the most demanding and high throughput applications in recycling; from the size reduction of large petrochemical lumps to MSW waste streams.
All shredders in the ZXS series feature large 750mm diameter rotors with widths ranging from 1500-300mm, which are driven by two oversized industrial gearboxes. The low speed of 45rpm guarantees a high torque and smooth operation, for the easy shredding of a variety of infeed materials.Â
The heavy swing ram combined with 11kW, two-speed hydraulic system guarantee a high throughput of even on the heaviest materials, whilst eliminating the risk of blocking and wearing out of internal guide rails.
To save space and protect from damage the hydraulic power pack is well integrated into the machine housing- all while being easy to access or remove for machine maintenance.
To ensure easy maintenance and flexibility, each machine comes equipped with a unique bolted knife and knife holder.
The ZXS-T model shredder also comes with larger drives and complete wear protection for processing multiple tons per hour of waste, tires, or MSW streams.
